The Kansas Board of Cosmetology is in charge of regulating permanent makeup technicians.

In order to obtain your body art practitioner license you must have:

 

After all of this is submitted, you will be contacted to schedule the State Board exam and pay the exam fee.

To transfer your license from another state:

You must take and pass the Kansas exam and meet the Board’s requirements for licensure. To apply for the examination, complete the out of state examination application and submit the application and the required documentation to the Board office.
