We have said several times that Instagram is a HUUUGE (yes, with that many u’s) in the world of micropigmentation, so we decided to do some research and find the most influential micropigmentation artists on Instagram.
Looking at their feeds is so exciting! These are artists are incredibly successful in their craft and very highly regarded. Many have training programs and travel the world teaching their perfected techniques. They’re #InstaFamous!
Growing an Instagram following of any of these sizes is a huge achievement. The amount of attention that comes from having a sizable Instagram following is huge. However, it’s not easy. We’re just getting started with our own account, testing things out growing little by little. Part of it is understanding the platform and using the right hashtags.

3. James Olaya
Micropigmentation is huge in Brazil so of course some Brazilians would make it on this list. James Olaya is very active on Instagram. He loves selfies and posts a lot of pictures of his travels. James runs his own studio and training academy in Saõ Paulo, Brazil.
4. Léo Rosa
Leo’s huge smile and funny poses make for a very entertaining feed. Proof of that is the huge amount of followers he has, especially when considering he doesn’t follow anyone. No one. 0.
5. Alan Spadone
Another Brazilian force here. Alan is a micropigmentator, educator and entrepreneur. He has his own company, Spadone Special Ink, which sells permanent makeup pigments.
6. Aleksandra Maniuse
Aleksandra is founder and trainer of Deluxe Brows, a training academy. She posts pictures of her trainings and travels. Look out for some gorgeous shots of the Maldives!

We love Audrey’s feed. It’s the perfect combination of personal/work. Audrey is based out of Los Angeles and runs Audrey Glass Cosmetic Tattoo. She loves posting pictures of her work, her puppy, delicious food and her outfits.

Rita is CEO of Baltic Brows, a training academy in Lithuania. We love her pictures of her travels, especially the ones in Colombia!

We love Rebecca’s username @princessbrows! She looks very much like a princess with that crown on her head. Rebecca is founder of Princess Brows, an eyebrow and lash salon in Hong Kong.

We love Studio Sashiko’s feed. Their feed is a clear reflection of their brand. Even their eyebrow pictures show their aesthetic of bright and clear space. The studio’s name is inspired by the decorative embroidery styles that adorn traditional indigo dyed fabrics in Japan. This method is called sashiko, meaning “little stabs”.
